Klaus F. Zimmermann has been elected Member of Academia Europaea, the European Academy of Sciences, in 2010.

He has been Section Chair of the Section “Economics, Business and Management Sciences”, Academia Europaea, 2014 – 2021. More information.

2018: Class A2 meeting in Uppsala

The section chairs of the AE Class of Social and Related Sciences (Class A2) met with the Class Chair at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study  in Uppsala for the annual Class Meeting to discuss nominations for membership and the future academic work of the class on 3-4 July 2018.

The the sections of Class A2 are (i) Behavioural Sciences, (ii) Social Sciences, (iii) Economics, Business and Management Sciences and (iv) Law with the respective chairs Ulrich Teichler (representing Peter Scott), Maria ParadisoKlaus F. Zimmermann and Dagmar Coester-Waltjen. The event was led by Class Chair Björn Wittrock of the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study in Uppsala, who also acted as the local host.

2015: Class 2 of the Academia Europaea met at IZA in Bonn.

The Section Chairs of Class 2 of the Academia Europaea (AE) met on July 13 – 14, 2015, at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn to discuss joint initiatives including the nominations of new AE members.
